1st ANNUAL DYHA FAMILY BBQ

WHAT:  Join us in our first annual DYHA Family BBQ for fun, food, and free skate!
WHEN:  Sunday, August 15th, 2010.  12:00pm to 4:00pm.
WHERE:  Oceanside Ice Arena, 1520 N. McClintock Drive, Tempe..
WHY:  To get every family together for some fun prior to the season starting, and to raise some money.

DYHA is very proud to announce that our very own Luke Moffatt has been selected by the Colorado Avalanche in this years 2010 NHL Entry draft.  Luke becomes the third player drafted in the NHL who grew up playing at  DYHA, preceded by Dusty Collins & Anthony Hamburg (*DYHA Alumni David Spina signed as a free agent in NHL). DYHA is also proud and thankful for Luke's dad Kenny Moffatt who was a long time coach and legend at DYHA.

Luke is an Arizona native with roots from Paradise Valley.  It is not only a proud day for our organization, but the entire state of Arizona.  Congratulations Luke!

Cleveland, Ohio May 22nd 2010: The National Junior Prospects Hockey League (NJPHL) announces today the start of a new showcase league. The organization will begin its inaugural season in the fall of 2010.

NJPHL will consist of hockey associations from across the nation, initially including: Lake Erie Warriors (OH), Phoenix Firebirds (AZ), West Michigan Hounds Hockey (Michigan), Chadders Hockey (UT), Nashville Southern Flyers (TN), CP Dynamo (NY), Fort Wayne Komets (IN). They will be competing at the Tier 1 AAA level in the following age categories: U14 (Major Bantam), U16, and U18 (Minor & Major Midget).
