DYHA alum Bryan Esner sighed a contract today with St. Louis Blues affilliate Peoria Rivermen. More details will be posted shortly!

 DYHA alum Brett Skalski '88 has been playing for the last 2 seasons at Northwood Prep in Lake Placid, New York.  For 2006-2007 Brett was named Captain and is the leading scorer for Northwood's AAA team and will graduate from Northwood School in May 2007.  For 2007-2008 Brett has been accepted to Ohio University (ACHA D1), Suffolk University (NCAA D3) in Boston, and St. Anselm's College (NCAA D2) in New Hampshire.  Brett is weighing his options of going directly to college or to take a year or two of Junior hockey.

 NAU just came back from the National Tournament in Fort Wayne IN. They went into the tournament the # 4 seed out of the pacific divsion. There first game was against University of Tennessee the # 1 seed out the South. NAU won that game 9-5. There next game was against Suny Albany they lost that one 3-2. Albany went on to take 2 place in the tournament. NAU went onto finish in 8th place in ACHA Divsion III this year. This is a big step for the program at NAU. And there is hope for many more years to come for hockey in Northern Arizona..
