DYHA is proud to announce that three of our teams are headed to represent Arizona in the Nationals this April.  The Peewee Tier II, U16 Tier II both just recently won their State Championships, and along with the U18 Tier II team, will be competing for a National Championship under the Firebird Logo.

We are very proud of these three teams, as well as our U16 Tier I team that is competing at the Regionals in hopes of making the National tournament, as they continue the winning tradition that the DYHA Firebirds are known for; "Where Champions Skate".  Good Luck to all of those that have committed so much time and effort in accomplishing such tremendous goals!

 The Firebirds went 4-0-1 for the week end, and battled through several close games. Their offensive charge was led by Tyler Anderson, who led the AA division with 14 points (9g 5a) and on the defensive side Goalie Jack Sampson led in goals against with a 2.00 average. “We played great defense all week end, and scored some timely goals on offense,” Coach Wayne Mc Bean Said. “It took all 16 players working hard every shift for us to be successful.”

The Pee Wee '98 Firebirds traveled and won the Pee Wee A Division in San Diego at the Isoplex's. After losing their first game 5-1 to the host San Diego Gulls, the Firebirds won their next 2 games to find themselves in a re-match against the Gulls....
